The Old Brooder (sleeps up to 22 in five bedrooms) is super-cosy in the depths of winter with space to cook and eat together, a sitting room with comfy sofas, chairs, board games, TV and bookcases full of books. Outside the short or long farm trails weave along grassy field margins, and through meadows and woods where families can do scavenger hunts, stop and make dens, hug trees or create arty installations. You can borrow our fleet of up to 22 adult road bikes, BYO children’s, and explore the local villages along quiet country lanes with or without the Wool Town bike trail quiz we’ve devised, or walk to medieval Lavenham on circular route footpaths and reward yourselves with a pub lunch or cream tea!
