Seahouses Hostel is delighted to promote Coast Care, an exciting initiative supporting volunteers in the management and conservation of the beautiful Northumberland coastline from Berwick to Amble.
Seahouses Hostel makes the perfect base for volunteer activities being located in the pretty coastal village of Seahouses and providing comfortable, bright and spacious self-catering accommodation. It’s within close proximity to the beach, local amenities, lovely restaurants and charming pubs.
There are a variety of opportunities each and every week to volunteer; caring for our sandy beaches, rolling dunes, historic buildings, village greens, farmlands and grasslands which make up our coastal environment. You could be performing a wildlife survey one day, a practical conservation task the next and a beach clean on another! There are projects to suit a wide range of interests and capabilities and everyone is welcome from families, college students, graduates and retirees…
