Family gathering for all ages

There’s something for everyone at the Old Brooder bunkhouse – bikes, wildlife, books, walks, painting, history

If you need to gather 20 guests of all ages who all want to eat and relax together … and then disperse to do different things, then the Old Brooder on our lovely Suffolk farm might just suit you.  You can eat at long tables, barbecue outside or picnic in a meadow or by a pond.  Some can borrow our 20 adult road bikes and explore the quiet country lanes and the medieval wool villages, others can bird watch or pond dip, sporty guests can kayak down the River Stour, paint our ancient barns …. and those that wish to read a book can laze in the garden – and play a bit of croquet.  And you can decide who has bunks and who has beds.
