There’s all sorts of ways to enjoy the scenic Quantock Hills: biking, horse riding, walking guided trips. You can base yourself at Base Lodge in the traditional coast town of Minehead and then head out!
Once a Royal Hunting Forest, the Quantocks are now valued as a site of natural beauty and diversity. Search the beaches for fossils on the ‘Jurrassic Coast’; see Red Deer stags raising their majestic heads above the heather; listen out for woodpeckers in the ancient woodland ‘coombe’.
