The Rookhope Inn is closed but there is plenty of home cooked scrumptous options to tuck into after your day out on the North Pennines.
The pub next door is closed at present (Feb 2022) but for the past two years Barrington Bunkhouse have been served well by “High Rigg Catering” based in the nearby village of St. Johns Chapel. Their prices are very reasonable, their portions are huge and they deliver to the bunkhouse. We have never had any complaints … only that there’s too much food !! There is also Working Mans club in the village, open on Tuesday nights and Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday.
