The National Trust’s “Berry Lawn Linhay Bothy” is available for £23 per night over Christmas and New Year. Sleeping up to four people with no vehicle access and the most basic of facilities, this is a wild place for a festive celebration. It can be hired for a single night or longer.
Berry Lawn Linhay Bothy is a stone tent perched on top of some of England’s highest cliffs, with amazing views over the Bristol Channel, Watersmeet Valley and Exmoor. Ideal as an overnight stop for walkers on the South West Coast Path the bothy welcomes up to two dogs and has no parking. There is a pub 500m away and the seaside town of Lynmouth is 2 miles away.
