The staff from Leek and Buxton College, won a holiday at Elterwater Hostel at this year’s Education Show, and here they are enjoying it.
If you’ve ever left your details for a prize drawer, you didn’t really expect to win, well neither did the staff from Leek and Buxton College, but they have just spent a fantastic couple of days at Elterwater Hostel courtesy of their entry at this year’s Education Fair at the NEC. The group of colleagues, ex colleagues and family have walked the hills and valleys of Langdale in glorious sunshine, eaten hearty meals at the hostel and sat in the late afternoon sun outside the local hostelries at the end of a great day of adventures. Gathered drinking tea in the garden this morning, they agreed that they would be spreading the word amongst their education colleagues and their family and friends. Many of them were already planning a return themselves.
