Easter sandwiched between 3 national parks

You’ll be spoiled for choice at the Punch Bowl Hotel. Located in Low Bentham the hotel is close to The Lakes, The Forest of Bowland and The Yorkshire Dales national parks

Perfect for families as we’re in the midst of countryside with lovely views of the river. Lower Bentham is a historic village, so historic it was mentioned in the doomsday book in 1086. Since this time it has been always known as a farming community. The Punch Bowl Hotel itself dates back to around the 17th Century. So there’s plenty of history to discover, including a set of steel “bloomers” representing Queen Victoria’s underwear which were supposedly made from silk woven in Bentham. All this and the fact that the location allows easy access to 3 separate National parks make it ideal for a cracking Easter break.
