Guided walks in the stunning scenery and autumn colours of Strathearn, based in Crieff
Crieff & Strathearn Drovers’ Tryst annually celebrates the cattle drovers of 1700 Scotland, who made Crieff a major crossroads. Todays Tryst is a walking festival run by volunteers with a programme of guided walks in the stunning scenery of Strathearn & surrounding Perthshire. The walks vary in difficulty but all are enriched by wildlife, plants, trees, history and the company of like-minded people. The Tryst also embraces a mountain bike event, The Hairy Coo. In 2018 the competition races will also be joined by some family friendly bike rides. Complementing the outdoor activities is a series of enjoyable evening social events, with talks, music, drama and film, and Crieff has great food and drink to be enjoyed in local restaurants and cafes, a wide choice of places to stay and many other interesting attractions.
