We will be letting private rooms only, which can be shared by up two households. All rooms will have their own dedicated shower facilities. We’ve reduced our overall occupancy and set up our booking systems to allow discounted under-occupancy of our larger bunk rooms – giving everyone more space. We’ll be increasing our daily cleaning routines to ensure everything stays clean and safe.
For the first time ever, we’ll also be offering four camping pitches in the hostel grounds.

Unfortunately our self catering kitchen has to remain closed, but we’ll be offering a limited breakfast & dinner service, and also making sure guests have access to a boiler for hot drinks and a microwave to reheat food.
We’re really looking forward to welcoming guests back to Derwentwater.
