As the nights start to draw in, there’s no better time to be on Coll. Not only do you not have to stay up light to see our awesome Dark Sky, but our daytime temperatures will soon be a good bit warmer than the mainland thanks to the Gulf Stream effect.
Autumn and Winter walks on our many stunning white sands are not to be missed and, before settling down with the lights off to gaze at our starry sky, you can feast on local produce and (hopefully) get a chance to chat with some of our welcoming community at the café or the hotel and bar. If you’d like to get a real feel for island life, try a winter visit.
