Located far away from the obscuring haze of light pollution, here you can gaze up at the depth of the heavens with just your naked eye.  Returning to a warm bunkhouse and good company.  The Northern Lights often flash across the winter skies, known locally as the Merry Dancers,  or more scientifically  the Aurora Borealis.
