Climbing Crags in the Wester Ross of Scotland

The new Scottish rock mecca for climbers, accessible from Sail Mhor Croft.

For many years the crags of the North West were the sole haunts of the few local climbers, however, the secret couldn’t last forever and now this Mecca of rock is available for all to use.  With such a vast array of routes there are grades to suite all abilities & all within easy access – some within 10 mins drive from Sail Mhor Croft.
Local climbers Jim Buchanan and Paul Tattersall have produced a series of superb guides to many of the major crags in the area called WildWest Topos.  These, together with personal information on the local climbing areas are available from Dave at Sail Mhor Croft.    Guided walks, Scrambling, Navigation, & Climbing tuition can also be arrange by the hostels through Go Further.
