Callander Hostel in the Southern Highlands Town of Callander is right on Rob Roy Way. The Rob Roy Way is a 7 day walk across the Southern Highland of Scotland, starting from Drymen on the West Highland Way and finishing at Pitlochry. This walk follows the paths used by Rob Roy MacGregor, a famous 17th century outlaw. Another great walk from the hostel is the accent of Ben Gullipen, a 9 miles climb from Callander Hostel along waymarked forestry tracks. Despite the low (1358ft) summit, the walk provides wonderful views across the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.
