Lodge Dinorwig on the Slate Trail in Snowdoni

After climbing up from Llanberis the trail passes by the Cafe and Hostel at Dinorwig. This former school now provides meals for walkers on the trail and overnight accommodation in comfy bunks with a cooked breakfast in the morning.

This is an 83 mile circular trail explores the industrial heritage of the slate villages of Snowdonia. The route starts at Porth Penrhyn near Bangor and ends at Bethesda and attracts walkers to villages such as Llanllechid, Bethesda, Dinorwig, Llanberis, Waunfawr, Nantlle, Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Croesor, Ffestiniog and Penmachno.    Dinorwig Lodge, in the village of Dinorwig has been designed with walkers in mind, with a cafe and a 14 bed bunkroom. Breakfast is included with an overnight stay and evening meals can be booked. There is no self-catering.
