This summer archaeologists will excavating a barrow untouched since 2500BC
The barrow was found by metal detecting enthusiast who quickly notified the authorities and now is going to help with the excavation. Initial professional investigations have revealed it to be a real find, a large barrow which has escaped looting and damage for 4500 years!
