At Ilderton Dod Barns, we have 2 young ponies with staying us, at least for this summer, enjoying the scenery. Perhaps your stead would appreciate the views from the fields outside our cottages.
With 1800 acres of our own access land surrounding the holiday accommodation and thousands more beyond our boundaries there are several options for day rides with your horse and we can help you plan your routes. We can provide wooden-fenced grazing, or space for you to create a pen for the duration of your stay. We also have plenty of parking for trailers and horseboxes. Access is easy up our 1.5 mile private drive and yet there is no need to go near a road to take in the local area. If you prefer, beach rides are only 15 miles away on quiet sandy beaches, and if you’d rather not bring your own horse, Kimmerston Riding Centre near Wooler organise beach rides on Holy Island.
