Being on The Weardale Way and Pennine Journey, and directly on the cycling Coast to Coast route, the bunkhouse is located in the perfect walking country.
Not only that but there are many interesting places to visit within easy reach, such as the Beamish open air Museum, Killhope Lead mining museum, the coast and castles of Northumberland, and Durham city and Cathedral. We may be high up in the North Pennines but there is loads to see and do.
