Late September is the time when the Outdoor Swimming Society with over 800 participants dash into the water at Barmouth and swim the 10K up the estuary to Penmaenpool.
Its a spectacular and popular event with many swimmers and runners seeking hostel and camping accommodation in the area. The Bunkorama has been a popular choice over the last 2 years and I guess that the HYB and Kings Hostel will also be great places for participants to stay at. Check out our video of the 2018 event.
