For cyclists the magnificent Lon Las Cymru (national route 8) passes through Barmouth on its stunning Journey from Holyhead to Cardiff/Chepstow. We increasingly have visitors from across the Globe who have walked from Cardiff, Across the Brecon Beacons, through the beauty and wildness of mid wales, camped on top of Cadair Idris, then after taking on supplies at Barmouth they stop at the Bunkorama for a comfortable night before wild camping in the Rhinogs and then on to Snowdon before arriving at Conwy Castle
