The Aysgarth Falls stretch over a one-mile length of the River Ure. The falls have grabbed the attention of many cultural icons for more than 200 years, including Wordsworth and Turner, so it is no surprise that they also star in a Hollywood film.    Ifootpath provide a walking route for a 2.5 mile circular walk from the village of Aysgarth in Wensleydale. The walk takes in a woodland nature reserve and rolling farmland, with lovely views of Bolton Castle as well as the most spectacular  Aysgarth Falls.

The Jonas Centre has warm and cosy self catering cabins available for stays of two nights or more. Each cabin sleeps 5 comfortably in 2 bedrooms and is fully equipped for self catering.  Dogs Welcome.
