Are you a golfer?

Church Stretton has an amazing golf course, situated on the hills above the All Stretton Bunkhouse

Would you prefer to play golf while the rest of the family try out their new mountain bikes, or go for a wild swim in Cardingmill Valley or hike off across the Long Mynd to have a pub lunch?

Church Stretton has a challenging golf course on the top of the Long Mynd. Not only will you have to be prepared to walk up some hills but you will need to try and miss the odd sheep or wild horse when taking a swing. You could walk up from the bunkhouse to have a go if you are super fit – otherwise it’s a five minute car journey for a game you will never forget.

Reconvene with the family later in our local pub to swop stories.
