An historic 300 year old welsh timber framed building soon to open its doors as a hostel.

Bwthyn Bach hostel

Opening in May 2020 to the public as an independent hostel. This hidden gem of a building in rural Mid Wales will captivate the imagination of all who stay here. Groups of up to 17 can book sole use of this Grade II listed building and immerse themselves in the profound sense of history. Ideal for cyclists on the Lon Las Cymru.

Groups of friends and family, walkers, cyclists, university clubs, scouts and DofE  groups will all be welcomed to this historic building.  With the village pub, serving great beer and food literally next door you don’t need to walk far for your evening entertainment.  While Lon Las Cymru for cyclists, Glwndwr’s Way for walkers and mountain bikers as well as Aberystwyth, the coast, Dyfi National Nature Reserve and the Centre for Alternative Technology are close by for you to explore during the day.
