With our hostel closed we’ve volunteered to be drivers for the Alston Essentials delivery service getting vital supplies out to those self isolating or in very rural places on Alston Moor.
After eight weeks of lockdown Linda and Neil are still delivering. They say, “It’s the highlight of our week. We feel much more connected with our local community too.”
