Tucked away in the remote West Allen Valley, Carrshield Camping Barn offers basic overnight accommodation on the C2C cycle route. A night (or more) at this historic 18th century mine shop (a scheduled building) will really add a sense of adventure to your cycle ride.
You will need to bring your own sleeping bag, stove, cooking utensils and torch. Without electricity, WiFi or a mobile signal and with a stream for washing you can experience the life of the travellers of old.
