Directly situated on The Pennine Way, The Pennine Journey, The South Tyne Trail, Isaac’s Tea Trail and Hadrian’s Highway, Alston Youth Hostel is the place to stop over.
After a hard day’s walking in the hills you will be greeted by a hot shower, comfortable bed, a hearty breakfast and a large warm drying room. You are bound to meet other walkers in the hostel’s comfortable communal areas. It’s a short walk to the small town of Alston where you will find 3 restaurants, 2 pubs and a supermarket. So you can self-cater or treat yourself to a slap up meal out.
