A former woodyard in the Malvern Hills

Berrow House bunkhouse in the MALVERN HILLS RANGE

Now provides accommodation ideal for school visits

Berrow House Bunkhouses were the former Wood yard owned by Eastnor Castle Estate.   Under the ownership of Earl Bathurst, the woodyard made the gates and fences for the estate.  The  machinery all went to a historical collector who takes them to fairs and the woodyard buildings became Berrow House Bunkhouses.

The bunkhouses are ideal for school visits, particularly those who are part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, as there is space for camping as well as the simple bunkhouses accommodation, plus a classroom/meeting room.   Located in an area of Natural Beauty with direct access to the Malvern Hills, which is ideal for expeditions and field studies. The area is surrounded by lots of wildlife, including small Deer, Periguin, Falcons etc.  Here at Berrow House we can provide you with any local information you may need especially regarding walks and routes for the walker and cyclist alike.
