Surrounded by dramatic mountains, Derwentwater Independent Youth Hostel is situated in Keswick, in the Lake District. The hostel is a Grade II listed Georgian manor house and stands on 17 acres of grounds, with the high Barrow Cascade waterfall, rich woodland and a large grassy area. It is a romantic location for a wedding.
The hostel can accommodate up to 88 beds so all your guests can be accommodated and catered for. This removes the hassle of all your friends and extended family finding and travelling to nearby accommodation once the celebrations are over.
The large grounds are bursting with wildlife such as red squirrels and natural spectacles to explore such as waterfalls. It is a natural playground beloved by the young and the young-at-heart!
