Tucked away in ancient woodland in Derbyshire, Shining Cliff Hostel is a simple, welcoming place for people who value quiet, nature and time together.
We offer individual rooms and group stays, with woodland walks straight from the door and a slower pace that many people appreciate — especially outside peak season.
Alongside the hostel, we also have the Beech Hut, a small space in the woods that can be booked for a day of reflection, planning or simply time out.
For groups, schools and teams, we can also offer Woodland Connections wellbeing sessions — gentle guided walks, simple bushcraft skills like firelighting and whittling, and time to connect with the woods together.
