Less than a ten minute drive from Seahouses Hostel but a world away from the bitterly cold winds and blizzard like conditions that greeted us on Sunday morning, we enjoyed the most beautiful walk at Preston Tower!
With not a soul around, we enjoyed ambling through the peaceful garden, explored the history of the Pele Tower with its magnificent striking clock and wondered through the sheltered beech woods and onward into fields, finally returning back to where we began. Wonderful stuff – and even time for a few snowballs!
