Luxury bunkhouse available to groups and individuals
Perfect for family reunions, friends, training courses, and youth groups, the bunkhouse is reserved for group bookings at weekends, however, on off-peak dates it is possible to book a private bedroom and enjoy a shared hostel experience in the communal areas.
The bunkhouse comfortably accommodates up to 32 guests across seven bedrooms, most of which are en-suite. The heart of the property is a massive dining and communal seating area that opens directly onto the beautiful outdoor space and surrounding woods.
For a cozy and practical stay, the building features under-floor heating throughout, excellent drying facilities, ample hot water, and a natural garden spring that supplies fresh water. The large kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering for big or small groups and local outside catering can be arranged if you prefer to take a break from cooking.
The property commands magnificent, unspoilt views spanning from the Sugarloaf to the central Brecon Beacons and down the Usk Valley. You can enjoy direct doorstep access to the mountainside footpaths as well as a flat mountain road that connects directly to the National Cycle Network. Within easy walking distance lie climbing cliffs, open moorland, and the famous Llangattock cave complex, which is one of Europe’s most elaborate cave systems.
A short drive expands your options to the scenic Wye and Usk river valleys and the historic Blaenavon World Heritage site. The location is a haven for outdoor activities, including caving, rock climbing, canoeing, abseiling, orienteering, pony trekking, and mountain biking. Whether you are visiting for a holiday, educational field studies, or training courses, outdoor pursuit instruction can readily be arranged using experienced local qualified instructors.
