Camping barn in the Lake District near Keswick
The Barn has a sleeping area upstairs (mattress provided) with a kitchen and sitting/dining area below. A separate toilet, and shower are within the building. The kitchen has a hob, microwave, kettle and fridge. Pans, crockery and cutlery are provided. A wood-burning stove provides a focal point and warmth!
There is a BBQ and seating area outside and, as there is no light pollution, the star-filled night skies are magical. Northern Lights have been seen too! Home produced meat is also available along with our own free range eggs and preserves.
The farm also has a self-catering unit in the Old Hayloft. It has a twin bedded bedroom and a sofa bed in the kitchen / living area. Perfect for a family of four or 2 adults.

Leave M6 at junction 40. Take A66 towards Keswick for 14 miles. Turn left onto B5322 St Johns-in-the-Vale Road. We are 3 miles along the road on the right.Public Transport :
Trains terminate at Windermere. From there take a 555 bus towards Keswick. Get off at Thirlmere Dam Road End (Smaithwaite). Climb over ladder stile and we are ½ mile north along a footpath.Walks :
