Springhill Farm Bunkhouse is on a Welsh hill farm at 1475ft above sea level, on the Welsh/Shropshire border with beautiful views over the Ceiriog Valley and Berwyn Mountains. Great for walking, riding, cycling, team building, meetings, or just to relax. Self catering, the main bunkhouse sleeps around 25 in 6 bedrooms. The 2 smaller self catering cottages can sleep 12 more. There is also a heated games and lecture room. The bunkhouse has under-floor heating, entrance hall with w/c and drying room, large kitchen, dining room and sitting room. Outside is a large patio and lawn, BBQ and hot tub. Available on site, horse riding for all ages and abilities, archery. Horses and pets welcome on request. GR SJ 210 346. On the A483 from Wrexham, take the third exit on the first roundabout (McDonalds). At the next roundabout take the first exit, continue into Chirk, and then turn right for Glyn Ceiriog. After 6 miles you will arrive at Glyn Ceiriog. At the mini roundabout turn left, go over the bridge, and then straight away turn right into a small lane. Continue up the hill for about two miles, do not turn off.Public Transport:
Nearest train station Chirk (8 miles). Nearest bus service is in the village Glyn Ceiriog (2.5 miles). Transfer can be arranged.Walks:

The stables and buknhouse overlook the Ceiriog Valley and you can ride on tracks, fields and bridleways straight from the farmyard. This special place is called Springhill and it is close to Springhill Farm Bunkhouse in the Welsh Borders . So far we have heard the Cuckoo every day this May, several Hen Harrier sightings, as well as the usual Sky Larks, Curlew and Canada Geese. This is some of the best walking and horse riding country the UK has to offer, and its all directly accessible from the yard of Springhill Farm.

The bio-mass boiler at Springhill Farm makes their comfy bunkhouse accommodation a great winter retreat.
Escape to a Welsh hill farm at 1475ft above sea level and really enjoy the under-floor heating. Springhill farm is on the Welsh Shropshire border with beautiful views over the Ceiriog Valley and Berwyn Mountains. The bunkhouse is a great base for walking and riding. The on-site riding school and stables provides riding for all ages and abilities. The bunkhouse is comfy and there is a heated games and lecture room. For the summer you can enjoy the large patio, lawn and BBQ. There is also a hot-tub.
