OverviewIn the heart of the Ogwen Valley with stunning views over Snowdonia, this hostel is the perfect base for walkers, climbers and cyclists with the best routes straight from the door. Snowdonia Mountain Hostel is surrounded by most of the Welsh Three Thousands, it looks out on Tryfan, the Glyderau and the Carneddau and you can walk, hike, climb or ride from the door. Zip World is just a short walk away and the beaches at Anglesey just a short drive away. Formerly quarrymen's cottages, this fully refurbished, is a well designed and comfortable hostel. Sleeps 26 people in four dormitories, a twin room and a self-contained flat. For school groups it is possible to have 10 + 10 separate gender dormitories and a self-contained unit and twin room for teachers. Available for sole use 29th October 2018 - 5th April 2019. Directions:The easiest way to find us it to put Snowdonia Mountain Hostel into google maps - it will bring you to the house - the postcode (LL57 3DQ) will take you past. Parking for 8-10 cars available.
Public Transport:Bangor is the nearest train station with a 10 minute walk to the bus stop. The 67 bus goes about every 20 minutes and we are a 45 minute walk from there or a taxi ride. Lon Las Ogwen cycle route and the Slate Trail pass our front door.
