OverviewIn the heart of the Ogwen Valley with stunning views over Snowdonia, this hostel is the perfect base for walkers, climbers and cyclists with the best routes straight from the door. Snowdonia Mountain Hostel is surrounded by most of the Welsh 3000's, it looks out on Tryfan, the Glyderau and the Carneddau and you can walk, hike, climb or ride from the door. Zip World is just a short walk away and the beaches at Anglesey just a short drive away. Former quarrymen's cottages have been newly refurbished to provide this well designed and comfortable hostel. The accommodation sleeps 26 people in four dormitories, a twin room and a self-contained flat. For school groups it is possible to have 10 + 10 separate gender dormitories and a self-contained unit and twin room for teachers. Available for sole use 1st November to 31st March. Please get in touch if you want sole use at other times. Sorry no stag or hen parties.

Directions:The easiest way to find us it to put Snowdonia Mountain Hostel into google maps - it will bring you to the house - the postcode (LL57 3DQ) will take you past. Parking for 8-10 cars available.
Public Transport:Bangor is the nearest train station with a 10 minute walk to the bus stop. The 67 bus goes about every 20 minutes and we are a 45 minute walk from there or a taxi ride. Lon Las Ogwen cycle route and the Slate Trail pass our front door.

Snowdonia, not only idyllic but also crammed full of things to do
Enjoy Easter half term short breaks and weekends in stunning Snowdonia. Climb Snowdon, visit Zip World, walk the Nantlle Ridge or ride the longest heritage steam railway in Europe. Alternatively rambling around the Welsh countryside is another perfectly valid way to spend the Easter break. No matter what you get up to you’ll be glad to be returning to this comfortable bunkhouse at the end of the day, seeing spring arrive in such a wonderful place.
