Bunkhouse situated bewteen LLanberis and Pen-y-Pass
Snowdon Bunkhouse is the longest established bunkhouse in the National Park, dating from 1959. Furthermore it is the closest to Snowdon and now has a brand new 7 person hot tub.
Situated amidst magnificent scenery, a short walk from historic Nant Peris and the Vaynol Arms Public House, it is close to famous routes for walkers, mountain bikers and climbers of all abilities. You can do Tryfan, Adam and Eve, Brisley Ridge, the Cantilever Stone and Castle of the Winds and arrive just 200m from the Bunkhouse on the public footpath. The Miners Track, the Snowdon Horseshoe, the Llanberis Path and route of the Fifteen Peaks are only minutes away. Llechog Buttress, directly opposite the bunkhouse, is great for scrambling and you can boulder at the Gromlech up to E8. Nearby Vivian Quarry has a diving centre or canoe on local rivers.
Snowdon Bunkhouse sleeps up to 10 people on two alpine sleeping platforms. Each one has 3 king-size mattresses, we provide duvets, pillows and towels. There is a separate well equipped kitchen, a dining area & an outdoor BBQ space. With full central heating and double glazing you are assured of a cosy, comfortable stay. Plenty of parking. Sorry no stag parties.
Snowdon House (sleeping 10) is available as a separate rental unit next door to the bunkhouse.
