Oozing quality and style the lodge’s facilities include a large communal area offering stunning views over Amble Marina and onto Warkworth Castle. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with four cooking stations, fridges, and freezers.

Perfectly situated on NCN Route 1 (Coast and Castles) and the Northumberland Coastal Path the Lodge is ideal for cyclists, walkers, backpackers and independent travellers. Especially as it has a secure garage with lockable bike racks, laundry & drying room and is within easy walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. What's more, a self-service breakfast of cereal and toast and hot drinks is available at no extra cost.

Families and groups of friends will find it is the perfect base for exploring the magic of Northumberland, with the bonus of watersports and boat trips on the doorstep. Dogs are welcome by arrangement. There are also luxury holiday apartments in the same development.

    From the North: coming from Warkworth on the A1068, turn left onto High St, then left down Queen St & then join Coquet St, next to Tesco follow the road round. Coble Quay & Radcliffes Lodge are on your left. From the South: on the A1068, turn right at the first roundabout onto Percy Dr, at the next roundabout go left on to Church St then immediate right on to Bridge St & right on to Coquet St in front of Tesco’s & follow the road round and Coble Quay and Radcliffes Lodge are on your left.
  • Public Transport :

    The X18 bus route runs from Newcastle to Berwick throughout the day. Amble is also 15 minutes away from Alnmouth train station giving direct access to London and Edinburgh.
