Set in the beautiful Mid Wales countryside on the Glyndwrs Way the bunkhouse is an ideal location for exploring or unwinding. Built to the highest standards, with 4 star tourist board rating, it provides high quality accommodation for groups or individuals. It can also be booked for conferences and seminars. There is a well equipped kitchen and a large communal area with fabulous elevated views over the Mid Wales countryside. The bunk beds are large with comfortable mattresses. Pillows and pillowcases are included, sheets and duvets can be hired for £3 per set. Attractions close by include sailing, golf course, outdoor pursuit centre, shooting range, Hafren dirt bike and Yamaha school and the picturesque market town of Llanidloes (0.5 mile) with many places to eat and drink. You will need to bring your own soap and towels. Boots and dirty footwear must be kept in the drying room so please bring footwear for indoors. Situated in the quiet country of mid-Wales close to the historic market town of Llanidloes, Plasnewydd bunkhouse is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the views or exploring the countryside of the ancient medieval kingdom of Arwystli. The Welsh National Cycle Route – Lôn Las Cymru – NCN Route 8 passes close by on it way from the North to the South of Wales and NCN 81 passes close by on it way from the East to the West of Wales. The national trails of Glyndwr’s Way and the Severn Way pass near the bunkhouse making Plasnewydd Bunkhouse an ideal overnight stop for long distance walkers and cyclists. The bunkhouse owners are sometimes happy to transport your luggage as you walk and cycle, get in touch to enquire.
