Set in the stunning Nidderdale Valley Area of Natural Beauty, overlooking the Gouthwaite reservoir. Nidderdale Bunkhouse was newly opened in the summer of 2016. Matt and Bev, who also own Skirfare Barn (p192), have done a suburb job of converting this grand old shooting lodge. Sleeping up to 20 in 4 rooms, three of which are en suite. With one further bathroom it means every bedroom has its own shower and toilet. There is a well equipped open plan kitchen and beautiful dining and seating areas with fantastic views over the valley. There is also a large living room with comfy sofa seating for all. The Nidderdale Way walk goes right past the house. In nearby Ramsgill is the renowned Yorke Arms Michelin star restaurant. Pateley Bridge has pubs serving food and the Nidderdale Museum is a short drive away. Perfect for walkers and wildlife lovers with Gouthwaite Reservoir Nature Reserve a short walk away. From Ripon take the B6265 to Pateley Bridge.After crossing the bridge turn right onto Lower Wrath road (Upper Nidderdale). Follow this through Ramsgill. Nidderdale Bunkhouse is the third turning on the right.
