Group accommodation on the edge of Snowdonia

With the mountains of Snowdonia in one direction and the sea and Caernafon Bay in the other, Lon Dryll Outdoors offers guests the best of both worlds. The mountain village of Deiniolen is just a 12 minute walk, while Llanberis, the gateway to Snowdonia with all it's attractions, is 15 min drive.

Under new ownership and refurbished, Lon Dryll now offers comfortable and affordable accommodation for groups of between 10-30. Facilities include a large fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, cosy lounge and a large classroom or games room with table tennis and a pool table. The bedrooms are split between two buildings; the bunk house sleeps 17 in 4 rooms of mainly bunk beds while the main house sleeps 13 in 3 rooms of mainly double and single beds. Both houses share the communal areas. Outside there's a BBQ area, a fire pit, undercover seating, grassy areas for the kids to play as well as ample parking.

Lon Dryll is wonderfully private and secluded set back well away from the road down a private drive. Surrounded by fields with 360 degree panoramic views it's the perfect base for groups of walkers, kayakers, cyclists, climbers or for friends & family get-togethers. Snowdonia Way, Snowdonia Slate Trail and Lon Las Cymru all pass close by.

All bookings get sole use, all bedding is provided and up to 3 dogs are welcome (£10 per dog per stay).

    All year. Check in from 5pm. Check out by 11am
  • Price per night:

    Main House: £385 for up to 13. Main House & Bunkhouse: £550 for up to 30. Please contact us for school & youth group prices.
  • Booking:

    Small deposit due on booking, with the balance payable 28 days before your booking date. If a booking is made less than 28 days before the start of the booking date, the full balance is required to secure the booking. Please note we do not send out reminders to pay the balance.
  • Directions:

    From Bangor & the A55 take the A4244 towards Llanberis. After a Texaco garage on your left, take the next signposted left turning at the top of the hill to Deinolen. We are 1/2 mile on the right. Look for our sign & come to the botttom of the grassy lane. From Llanberis or Caernarfon take the A4244 heading north, at the top of the hill turn right towards Deiniolen. After 1/2 mile we are on the right. Look for our sign & come to the botttom of the grassy lane. SAT NAVs don't get you to our door.
  • Public Transport :

    The nearest train station is Bangor which has a direct service to London Euston as well as services to Chester, Manchester, Leeds and Cardiff. There are good taxi services from the station or you can take the 85 bus from the station towards Llanberis, it stops in Deiniolen. The bus service runs during the day time only.
