Overview

Knoydart Lodge nestles between mountains and Loch Nevis on the awe inspiring and rugged Knoydart Peninsula. Known as the last wilderness in Britain the area remains accessible only by ferry and offers visitors that unique sense of isolation. Purpose built Knoydart Lodge offers hotel quality accommodation for couples, families and groups at bunkhouse prices. The Lodge offers the perfect balance between private and communal living with 5 private en suite rooms and a shared living space. It can be booked by the room or for sole use. Everywhere and everything in the lodge has that feel of luxury, from the fresh linens and fluffy towels in each bedroom and the fully equipped kitchen to the spacious communal areas with high vaulted ceilings, open beam architecture and huge picture windows with gorgeous views out to the Loch Nevis. Knoydart Lodge is your perfect base on the peninsula whether you are climbing Ladhar Bheinn, photographing the incredible landscape and wildlife or just savouring the sheer remoteness of this very special place. Self-serve continental breakfasts can be pre-booked, there’s a small on site facility where you can buy homemade frozen meals for your supper and there are tea & coffee making facilities available any time. Up to 2 dogs are allowed in each room (at a small extra charge) and a pick up / drop off service at Inverie Pier is also available. This accommodation is featured on our map of West coast of Scotland, Skye and the Hebrides and here is its own website.
