…explore the county and the city…
Canterbury is a cool place to visit. I’ll bet the cathedral springs to mind, maybe Chaucer as well, but there’s more than that.
Stay at Kipp’s in Canterbury as a great central location to explore the city and the county. Facilities include dining room, TV lounge with digital TV, a garden, a fully equipped kitchen, a small shop offering breakfast and other food items, bicycle hire. Free WiFi & broadband access. Rooms include single/double/twin/family & dorms of up to 8 beds (most en suite).
Canterbury’s central role in Britain’s history is documented in the cathedral, Canterbury Roman Museum, the Canterbury Tales experience, but just wandering around the city will give you a real sense of time and place. It is only a short trip out to the seaside – the historic resort of Herne Bay or fishing boats huddled in Whitstable harbour or the bracing fishing villages of the south east coast. And let’s not forget the ‘Garden of England’ stuff – Kent’s rich lush countryside dotted with grand country homes.

Twin rooms, reception and lounge are all looking different and new
Kipps Canterbury has been having a makeover over during the last couple of weeks. The lounge and reception look really smart now and the twin rooms are very plush. Kipps Canterbury a great reputation for a friendly welcome and is ideally positioned for groups coming to explore Britain by ferry. Keep an eye out for more make-over photos.
