A peaceful Highland retreat for individuals, families, and groups.

Kindrogan House sits within wooded grounds on the banks of the River Ardle in the heart of the picturesque Scottish Highlands, surrounded by red squirrels, pine martens, and ptarmigan.

Formerly the Kindrogan Field Studies Centre, the house now offers welcoming self-catering accommodation for individuals, families, and groups. It is the shared vision of five Scottish friends, brought together by a deep connection to this remarkable place, who are carefully restoring the estate while honouring its history and character.

At Kindrogan, guests are invited to slow down, settle into the rhythm of the landscape, and enjoy the warmth of relaxed, lived-in spaces at the heart of the local community.

Accommodation ranges from en suite double rooms to private bedrooms and shared dormitories with a mix of bunk and single beds. Bedding and towels are provided, and guests have access to a fully equipped self-catering kitchen for preparing breakfasts and other meals.

The house also offers a comfortable lounge, games room, free Wi-Fi, gardens, and flexible spaces suitable for classrooms, workshops, conferences, and group gatherings.

Kindrogan House is ideally located for exploring the Highlands, with nearby attractions including Killiecrankie, Blair Castle, Castle Menzies, Glenshee Ski Centre, and Scone Palace. The surrounding area offers excellent opportunities for hiking, wildlife watching, and outdoor adventure, with free private on-site parking available for guests.

Whether you are seeking a peaceful Highland retreat, a base for family adventures, a venue for group gatherings, or a setting for meetings and corporate events, Kindrogan provides a unique and welcoming place to stay.

The restoration of Kindrogan House is continuing carefully in phases, so guests are encouraged to check back from time to time to discover newly opened rooms and additional services as the estate evolves.
