Formerly the Kindrogan Field Studies Centre, the house now offers welcoming self-catering accommodation for individuals, families, and groups. It is the shared vision of five Scottish friends, brought together by a deep connection to this remarkable place, who are carefully restoring the estate while honouring its history and character.
At Kindrogan, guests are invited to slow down, settle into the rhythm of the landscape, and enjoy the warmth of relaxed, lived-in spaces at the heart of the local community.
Accommodation ranges from en suite double rooms to private bedrooms and shared dormitories with a mix of bunk and single beds. Bedding and towels are provided, and guests have access to a fully equipped self-catering kitchen for preparing breakfasts and other meals.
The house also offers a comfortable lounge, games room, free Wi-Fi, gardens, and flexible spaces suitable for classrooms, workshops, conferences, and group gatherings.
Kindrogan House is ideally located for exploring the Highlands, with nearby attractions including Killiecrankie, Blair Castle, Castle Menzies, Glenshee Ski Centre, and Scone Palace. Kindrogan Field Centre closed in the early 2020s and, after a brief spell as a girls’ school, was bought by a group of friends who are breathing new life into this beautiful Scottish estate through community, hospitality, and heritage. These Scotland-based friends and entrepreneurs were brought together by a deep connection to this special place and the local community. They would also like to share it with YOU! So why not book a visit today?
Kindrogan House offers self-catering, hostel-style accommodation as the team begins restoring the Kindrogan House estate.
The rooms are comfortable and full of character, inspired by the surrounding landscape and heritage.
Choose from private double rooms or shared mixed dormitories.
As restoration progresses, family suites, self-contained cottages, and additional private rooms will also become available in the months ahead.
