Lakeland camping barn in cumbria

Hudscales Camping Barn is part of a group of traditional farm buildings, situated at 1000ft on the northern-most flank of the Lakeland Fells. It overlooks the villages of Caldbeck and Hesket Newmarket and is in an ideal position for exploring the northern fells. It is situated right on the Cumbria Way and Reiver Cycle Route.

Sleeping accommodation is on the ground floor along with a separate cooking and eating area. You will need to bring sleeping bags and mats. If you wish to cook bring a camping stove and all utensils / crockery. There is a separate toilet and wash basin and a metered shower. A wood-burning stove is provided for added comfort (logs extra) and there is electric lighting plus metered power points, electric heaters are provided if required.
