The Heb Hostel is a family-run backpackers' hostel in the heart of Stornoway on the enchanting Isle of Lewis. It is an ideal stop/stay for travellers visiting the Hebrides.     March - October. Open all day but may need to call wardens phone for access code.

    Dorm £20pp Family room £80pn for family, £90pn for adults only.
  • Booking:

    Booking is not essential but may be advisable at busier times. Deposits are only required for groups. Payment is due on arrival by cash or cheque.
  • Directions:

    From bus station: exit front door, cross South Beach St and walk up Kenneth St. Pass 1st intersection and we are 2nd on the right. From ferry terminal come out of main exit, turn left, follow pedestrian walk-way to the bus station. From airport take bus to Stornoway bus station.
  • Public Transport:

    By plane: from Glasgow, Edinburgh or Inverness (Loganair). By ferry (Caledonian McBrayne) Ullapool to Stornoway (Lewis), Uig (Skye) to Tarbert (Harris) or Berneray (Uists) to Leverburgh (Harris).
  • Walks:
