Group accommodation nr Bristol, the Mendips & the Severn Estuary
The lodge sleeps up to 38 people in bunk bed dormitories;. each of the ten bedrooms sleep between two and six people. The rooms are split over two floors with a lift in between them for anyone unable to use the stairs. There are bathrooms on both floors with five toilets, seven showers and seven wash basins between them, including an accessible shower room and separate WC. Camping for up to 60 is also available on the eight acre field adjoining the lodge and troop tents for 8-10 people can be hired if required.
Situated in the middle of the North Somerset countryside, just off the A370 between Weston-Super-Mare and Bristol, the secluded site is just 15 minutes from Junction 21 of the M5 and 40 minutes from Junction 19 of the M4.
Groups have full use of 'The Cottage', a grade 2 listed building on site. This has a common room to relax or work in, as well as a fully equipped catering kitchen, complete with fridge, freezer, commercial oven and microwave. With space for 40 people, the cottage also offers the perfect conference space for small and medium sized groups to rent independently from the lodge. There is also access to outdoor fire pit.
The Yurt is situated just behind the lodge on the 8 acre field and offers a flexible space for up to 20 people. It's the perfect setting for small group meetings, or teaching well-being groups like yoga or mediation.
The timber framed outdoor classroom can accommodate groups from 15-60 people and is a great area for talks, outdoor plays and interactive group activity, as well as being an alternative venue for meetings and conferences.
