The dorms sleep 6 and can also be booked sole use as private family rooms. The on-site cycle storage makes it the perfect stop-off for cyclists on the Sandstone Way and the Coast & Castles cycle routes. Downstairs is a room which is accessible for wheelchairs and has been built to Document M regulations, this sleeps 4. From the A1 take the turning for Holy Island which is near the Esso petrol station, then take the 1st right behind the Lindisfarne Inn. The tarmac drive is 100 metres long and takes you to the cafe and bunkhouse.

Rail at Berwick upon Tweed, then with local buses to BEAL PETROL STATION on the A1, then a short 50m walk to the bunkhouse

This great bunkhouse is on the Northumberland coast just by The Holy Island of Lindisfarne. It is ideally located on the following routes: St Oswald’s Way, St Cuthbert’s Way, the Sandstone Way and the Trans EuroTrail. It’s a must for anyone doing any of these routes. Add great value to the great location and the fact there’s a bistro next day serving food throughout the day and you know it’s the perfect place. What’s more, you can hire bedding and towels, there’s a drying room, laundry and secure bike storage. Not to mention the piping hot showers and the comfy beds.
