The North Norfolk Coast belongs to the sky. It is filled with coastal wildlife, salt mashes and picaresque villages with ancient roots. There are stunning seascapes, seaside towns and not much evidence of the hurley burly of modern life. That is why Deepdale is such a useful find, unusual in rural North Norfolk, there is tourist information, shopping with great food available, camping and hostel accommodation all in the authentic relaxed village of Deepdale.Read More

Deepdale Hygge – back to the beginning
March 4th 2019
The Danish word hygge is about enjoying life’s simple pleasures. We enjoy keeping consistent atmosphere of friends, family, graciousness, contentment, good feelings surrounding Deepdale: you can experience this at our north Norfolk Coast this spring!
Deepdale will be hosting our re-launch festival, the Deepdale Hygge, over the last weekend in March 2019.
We are returning Deepdale to its original ethos, that of a quiet, peaceful, relaxed and welcoming place to stay, from where to explore not just the beauty of the North Norfolk Coast, but also to discover your own quiet corners to fill with your very own personal hygge. Hygge is a Danish word, meaning something like inner happiness.
Our formal re-launch festival, the Deepdale Hygge, will take place over the last weekend in March 2019, coinciding with the Deepdale Spring Market, and we would love your company. A more details programme will follow but do please contact us in the meantime with your thoughts and suggestions, or to just say ‘hello’; we’d love to hear from you.

The huge skies, coastline and countryside are here, and looking forward to welcoming you.
The winter Sunday Sessions continue with live music at Deepdale, Bernard Hoskin, Marina Florance and Gentlemen of Few.
The Deepdale Hygge and Deepdale Spring Market are just a couple of months away.
The campsite grass replanting looks fantastic, we’ll be planting more trees in early February at the Conservation Weekend, the new cartshed heating system is up and running, and the crew are ready for 2019.
We really look forward to welcoming you to Deepdale sometime this year …
