A fab new hostel just opened in the Cairngorms.

November 5th 2021

Situated in Dalwhinnie, the Old School Hostel has just been converted to a 27 bed hostel. The brainchild of Lee, an experienced international hosteller, the refurbishment and design reflects all that he has learnt in his travels.

Everything in the hostel is brand new and spotlessly clean.  The facilities are first rate, the views are out of this world and there’s even a hot tub in the garden.   The hostel is situated opposite Dalwhinnie train station, which is perfect for those arriving by public transport, and the world famous Dalwhinnie whisky distillery is just across the field.  Picture yourself, sipping a dram of the local single malt relaxing in the hostel’s hot tub gazing out to the mountains. All this while paying hostel prices!!
