YHA Clun Mill is in the Shropshire Hills National Landscape.
This listed 18th century stone water mill has been lovingly restored. Guests can savour the ambiance of rustic charm thanks to the exposed beams and the stripped wooden floor boards. The crowning glory is the original milling machinery that has been incorporated in to the restoration project for all to see.
Clun Mill is available for sole use bookings. It sleeps up to 23 across 4 dorms. Facilities include a well equipped kitchen, a dining room that seats 23 and 2 cosy lounges. Outside there is ample parking, a large enclosed lawned area and seating.
The sleepy, quaint village of Clun, just a very short walk away, is a place where time seems to have stood still. It boasts a pub that serves food, 2 cafes, a grocery shop and the ruins of a 13th century castle.
The area is perfect for walkers, cyclists and families that want to explore the beauty and attractions of the Shropshire Hills National Landscape. The Shropshire Way is accessible from the front door and some of the best preserved sections of Offa's Dyke path are found in the Clun Valley.
