OverviewPerfect for groups, families and walkers this bunkhouse provides basic accommodation on the National Trust Ashridge Estate in the heart of the Chilterns AONB. The bunkhouse provides rustic accommodation in two restored barns. The first building has two dorms with four sets of bunks in each whilst the second contains the kitchen as well as lounge, toilets, showers and a disabled toilet. Outside there is a lovely rustic log seating area. The buildings are surrounded by an open area of grassland where fallow deer can regularly be seen. There is no mobile signal in the bunkhouse but you should find some with a short walk into the nearby woods. The pretty Hertfordshire village of Aldbury is a short walk away with pubs and a local shop. Up to two dogs are allowed. There is parking for up to 6 cars on site.
